I saw during the game last night that Sam Berns, local kid, passed away at age 17.

Saw that too John, very sad, way too young. That was great to see him smiling when he was with the players and that seemed like a nice donation the Kraft's made to help fight his disease. Thoughts and prayers sent to his family. Give your kids an extra big hug tonight.

Geez, what a tough break. Both his parents are doctors. Not sure of thier specialty, ut Sam made himself available for quite a bit of research. RIP.

I was a shame.
From the smile on his face, you could see a boy who was truly happy!

Very sad. If you haven't already, watch Life According to Sam (should be on netflix). Sam's mom is a true hero for others who suffer from progeria.
