Been tryin to get to this Lake Travis place ouy here in TX. I guess they have some kind of hybrid striper. Anybody ever heard of these. Bout how big deyz get y'all?

RM, my brother used to live near there. Said they get just as big as saltwater Stripers and from what I've seen, most fresh water hybrid Stripers are fatter than their leaner saltwater cousins (comparative length:weight ratio). Try to get out there jig up one 'o them bastages.:D may as well make the best of it while you're down there.

Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to get out there. Just wanted to know what I was missing out on. Back to fish the banks of the Conn. in Lo-caash for a day or two. Then out to the Race for four days. Anybody been doing well with eels? I can't wait!!!!!!

They don't fight no way as good as a saltwater striper. They just be fat sows from eating bait all the time.
