Best buy about 3 years ago was GE @ 3.50 a share now about 26 bucks and about 3-3 1/2% return on your money...not such a good buy today has not moved up FishermanTim 01-30-2014, 12:36 PM I started buying gold and silver a couple years back. Although the price has dropped, I am still buying. I figure that if the economy should crash, I want to have something of value other than some lousy government promise that :things will get better"!!! Oh, and I would stay away from ebay and craigslist if you plan in investing in precious metals. They tend to be allowing more and more fake gold and silver. Do your homework and go to a reputable merchant. nightfighter 01-30-2014, 05:11 PM Going with Fidelity. Getting their Pro Trader platform and 60 free trades over next twelve months. Only one position that I am a little worried about now that the account is "in transfer" and I cannot effect any trading for a week, or when ever it is received by Fido. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
