A little life to this forum..my first AR15 build is almost done. Quentin Defense billet upper and lower, Geiselle 2 stage trigger, 16" Green Mountain 1:8 twist barrel, Fortis 14" rail and Fortis brake..should be shooting this weekend after I pin my murderous Magpul CTR stock, because a piece of moving plastic is deadly. Still waiting on sights/optics but I will get a set of Diamondheads to use until I decide on a scope. Next build is an AR for my wife , same upper and lower but she wants a 20" barrel. Then I'll do my .308 build, and that will be my SHTF toy.

all that stuff is way over my head but it looks damn cool man! Have fun with it. Yeah watch out, movable stocks have been known to do some damage :D

I shot an AR for the first time recently and I can see why people like them so much, a lot of fun to shoot and damn accurate

NIce job. I built a Rock River Arms Lower Eight before all the Obama rhetoric about Assault Weapons went down and everything went through the roof. I still need an upper, either buy one or build one.

I scored the upper and lower and spikes BCG on a black friday deal. Most of the parts for my wife's build I got from group buys. I already have my 80% 308 lower, chips will fly soon to make it ready.

Little better picture after I finished pinning the stock and pinning/welding the brake. Timing the brake was a pain but it looks great. Hope to break it in this weekend.
