But I'm using some Old butcher block tables That I got for free . So can someone point me in the right direction for a few new tips Please . Thanks Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device ThrowingTimber 02-25-2014, 05:12 PM They're called inserts, not tips. The little one you're going to need a different holder for and its actually a better cutter. The one you're using on junk wood you got for free that has nails in it is already beat, just flip it and use the other end. I would remove any more nails first. onecastmike2003 02-25-2014, 05:13 PM Thanks man Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device BigFish 02-25-2014, 05:59 PM I have a tip....buy some good wood?:rotf2: ProfessorM 02-25-2014, 08:29 PM The tip I sent you is for a Midi Vega. Are you using the pro model, and if so that insert won't be good for your dup. You need to get the larger insert, although I don't remember it looking like that shape. I don't carry those so you are out of luck with me for those. I'll PM you . Paul Tagger 02-28-2014, 04:40 PM The tip I sent you is for a Midi Vega. Not Hi Jacking thread ,, Think answer was given .. thanks . N.ShoreFisher 02-28-2014, 05:47 PM The difference is size, and cash. The midi can handle up to 10". The pro I believe might have 2 sizes. Someone more knowledgable might be able to give more insight. I'm looking into getting a Vega Pro .. or Midi ??? Not sure about difference .. and Hows those $100.00 diamond tips .. Not Hi Jacking thread ,, Think answer was given .. thanks . pbadad 02-28-2014, 08:54 PM I have a 36" pro. There is a 48' model also. I use the 36" for Baseball bats and stair spindles. In order to turn small stuff I have to remove tailstock unit and mount inside dupe mounts. It's mounted on a 42" jet variable 3 phase converter. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
