Game one was frustrating and I am already sleep deprived. But what a game.

B's outplayed them all night but it came down to Price being better than Rask and Montreal getting more power play (shocker!). I will say that if the B's are gonna win this or any following series they have got to start burying the golden opprtunities that are working so hard to create. How many wide open nets did they miss last night? At least three!

Glad tomorrow is a day game! :uhuh:

I'm still sick about the game last night, that one really bothered me. They had the upper hand, fought back hard a couple of times, etc, etc but nothing to show for the effort in the end.

I think Rask and Charra were feeling under the weather .
The team played well though.
It's going 7

flu still running thru the team. posts, crossbars, missed easy ones....normally I'd be worried after a game one loss, but the B's will come out breathing fire tomorrow and going forward. B's in 6.

Were you worried with 10 minutes left in the third period yesterday?

I was!

What a resilient bunch of guys on this team. As soon as they made it 3-2 the worrying stopped and it was just of matter of when not if they were gonna tie it. I am glad they did not go to OT as my heart could not have withstood that again.

Can't wait for the next game, go B's!

They've met 34 times in the playoffs...if this doesn't get you going, nothing will...

Sleazy move by Suban knocking the net off its mooring atthe end of the game with the B's in posession of the puck. Could have been a penalty shot....

But....

The B's won the Cup a few years ago because Tim Thomas stood on his head. Tuukka needs to make some stops, big stops. If he could have snuffed out even one of those break-aways it would have been a whole different game.

Game 4 is a must win now....

montreal did a good job clogging the lanes and blocking shots last night. b's were inconsistent at best. time to worry a little.

I'm trying to watch the game at 33 thousand feet. For some reason they don't block the NBC Sports app (like they do other streaming) but the performance sucks...

It looks to be a bandwidth restriction.

Heads will need to be removed from A55es if they plan on winning this series and getting to the cup..... They need to get back on their game and that is physical.

Does not matter how they do it to me, just get it done. Rask made the saves he needed to and the B's finally got a bounce that did not clang off a crossbar or post and fly out of play.

Time to cheer hard for the Rangers tonight. B's need that series to go at least 6 so if they get past the Habs there will not be a rested Pittsburghj team waiting.

I told the kid at work it will probably go 7 games and into 3 ot's at the beginning of the series, thinking 6 games realistically. Well it is starting to seem like that may be true. Very nerve racking

I'm convinced.

The pucks are being controlled by remote controls.
That explains so much of the game.
Cross-bar hits
Open-net misses
Goal-line backspins

05-14-2014, 09:25 PM
I disagree, Tuuka did fine for what it was

they did not play as a team enough and too much sloppiness and bad breaks

how many posts were hit, ya need to shoot ON goal
I hope they practice shooting in the off season and not there golf game

Habs wanted it more and were motivated by the Bruins bravado (muscle flexing and chest pounding) Rask was okay but did not make enough huge stops. Disappointing finish.

All I'll say is horrible. I could write a book on what they did wrong and a limerick would cover the positives. Let's go Red Sox.
