Looking to make a clean swap of my VS 150 bail-less for a bailed version. Mine was used one season, in perfect mechanical condition. It has a cosmetic blemish or two but nothing significant.

I am having a pesonal problem with the reel that I have been repeatedly told is because of the "way I fish". During retrieval of any soft plastic or twitch bait, the line will too often slide under the spool and wrap up around the spindle. I have ruled out all of the possible causes (too much line, wrong line type etc..) and despite 30 years of fishing(and catching :uhuh:) am still being told it is my own fault.

I can only blame on the lack of a bail as I am sure this would not be happening if one was present, thus my decission to trade it for a bailed version.

I can send pics via cell if anyone has interest. I am willing to let anyone fish with it first to assure that it is functional. I have it paired up with a 9Ft St Croix Avid (not for sale/trade).
