Not sure what you're budget is but I grabbed an hp pavilion from best buy for like $300-350

And the other (in case you didn't know) is the backup for when your wife finds the porn one.... Can't go without porn...

I hope he can help. As to your "Don't want anything with problems" clause, you can't get a laptop that doesn't have problems.... Computers suck, they will all have problems at many points during their existence, get one that someone you know has the ability to help you troubleshoot and fix
