Just an FYI
Marblehead has already made the call and postponed the harbor illumination and fireworks until Saturday July 5.

I would have called Boston for the 5th. There is a reasonable chance of showers and/or thunder. What NH and western ma had yesterday will be moving closer to the coast today

Unfortunately, the Esplanade can't change their plans until Saturday, as most of the performers have other schedules to follow.
They could postpone the fireworks and just have the concert tonight, but that would require more thinking that this city can muster.

agreed its a shame that they are doing the boston thing tonight!

Rockport is moving their parade and bonfire to Saturday, which will be nice!

Marblehead fireworks are CANCELLED.
Sea conditions caused the tug captain that provides the barge to declare unsafe conditions to tow and load fireworks.
