I meet up with KLmolder last night to do a little fishing so we decited to hit the 12 mile drive ( oceandrive) the water was not bad at all well we set up and the second cast my line gets cut so i set up again and it get cut again checking the top eye i noticed it has a slice in it . So i decide to call it a night when i get into the city i noticed the owner of the bait shop was still there so i asked if he could replace the eye and being a good customer like iam he did 8.35PM . So i call KL on the cell phone he is still there so we deside to meet at Second Beach back to Newport i go .
Get there around 9.35 PM set up again KL gets a small striper
now thing are starting to look good then it happened a real line burner played it for around 10 min get it in KL grabes the line to bring it in then the leader brakes good bye fish. Well we got to see it anywayes . Even thow i did not get to land it i would have put it back anyways and i still had a good time .

Sorry you lost that one SF in RI it was a nice fish 34" or better. Good fight, maybe he will be there next time and we can get your hook back. I went out again last night and was getting bite after bite, must have been hit 200 times unfortunately they were mosquitoes and not fish LOL see you again soon.
