so- my old heavier-weight rod is falling apart- anyone got a a 7 footer that can handle up to 16ounces for livelining baits???

I'm pretty flexible as far as makes/models/materials- let me know if you got anything that might work.

I do but I am not sure if its 6 1/2 or 7 I forget at the moment. but its a very nice stick built with an acid wrap. Has a nice C curve when under load.

geez I have a great one, but it's a 9ftr. I'd let you have it for 75 but it's down at m&d's hanging in the ceiling collecting dust. I used to use it for chunk bait and it worked great.

this is a "boat rod" that I'm looking for- 7foot is the longest I'd need./

I know you're looking for 7' max but I've got a perfect rod for hurling live pogies. It's a St.Croix Premier 79XXXHF (7'9") rated for 65-100 lb line and 8 - 20 oz weight.

It's a factory, cork grip conventional in mint condition. I'll ship to anywhere for $150. Going for $200 on amazon.

I use to use Penn Slammers for livelining Pogies and they worked fine.

$50 at Benny's or Wally World. Shakespeare makes a similar rod for the same dollars.

Got to be the white blanks though... the gray slammers just aint the same...
