Couple things going on this weekend starting with getting the materials to build the "Wrapper" and the Home show on Saturday... And FINALLY hooking up with Got Stripers to hit some fish at the Thames on Sunday!! Gonna be FREAKING cold out though... But I can't wait. I think I'll bring a 2 gallon thermos of Hot Chocalate with me...

NOTICE: The schoolies are 3 to 5 weeks away from the West Wall!!! Are you ready?? Is you gear nearly set?? How is your frame of mind?? All important things to consider over the next few weeks 'cause this is the home stretch!!!

Now with that said, What are your weekend plans???

Let's hope the fishing is hot John, that will keep us busy and our mind off the cold. Looking forward to it, just need to find my reel magic spray, so we can slow down the guides freezing shut, lol.

See you Sunday, tight lines.

Going to the big outdoors show up in Suffern, our version of the Worcester show. No big expectations for any deals, just want to eyeball some of the new gear. Loomis, Lami, Penn, Shimano, Daiwa, all the big names are there with the new goodies on display. I used to look forward to this just to learn what was new and get the catalogs--now, with the internet, I've heard about everything already, but still, nothing like seeing and holding the stuff.

Should be some socializing too, lot of the SOL guys will be there.

But, I'm still hoping I'll have the energy to do a one-day turnaround after coming home from Florida, so's I can get to the MSBA show.

I was planning on stoppin' down to the John R residence in Rhody. However, I have a nasty chest cold, complete with hackin' up green stuff, so we'll have to play that by ear.

Don't want to pass anything to that little chubby kid... who I was able to see today but not touch.

Everyone send their deepest sympathies to the John R family... unfortunately, the baby looks just like he does and will no doubt have to be locked in the basement through much of its toddler and adolescent years...

Seriously, Mr. R has a darn cute little kid and he has funniest little furrowed brow when he gets worried. And he got really excited when I got started tossing a ball up in the air. You'll have to nickname him Nomar (pronounced Nomah). You know John, I had taught Brittany that "pull my finger" trick by three months... worked especially well after Taco night. Mrs. Schoolie thought that was really funny.
