Can anyone recommend some cheap lodging on Block for september?

The place can have zero amenities as long as it has a bed.

"Cheap" on Block is a relative term. Try contacting Neptune House (where I stay) or Twin Maples, maybe Island Manor. Some places have minimum stays especially on weekends. You should be able to google all these places. BI Chamber of Commerce and BI Reservations also have listings.

Island Manor is about the least expensive I have found. I use to stay there every November for 3 days. Was about $80.00 a night
