Hi Everyone,
Matty lost his sister to breast cancer at the age of 32 two years ago. She was happily married to the nicest guy in the world who took the loss and care of the three kids in stride.

He also died last week, leaving the three kids orphans.

Here's a link to their fundraiser:

http://www.youcaring.com/other/friends-helping-friends/231410

We've raised about $3300 for the kids, but they'll need a lot more than that...Matty has been a huge supporter of the site over the years, so I'm wondering if we can do better than the $70 donation that I just sent. The kids really deserve everything we can do to help/

Thanks for listening,
Rick

Rick, I am so sorry to hear this terribly sad news. Give Matty our condolences. I'll help out any way I can. :(

Thanks to everybody. Losing parents at 32 and 35 is like something from a tv movie. You never see something like that in real life.

I agree they need a paypal link. Unfortunately, I got into the game late, otherwise I would have setup the site for them. I'm guessing someone at their church did the site.

Thanks again everyone!
Rick

Matty just asked me to send a big thanks to all who donated. It's pretty impressive that a little grass-roots site like this has raised $6300 for the kids.

Thanks from Matty,
Rick

Done. By the way, these sites generally don't accept PayPal - which does prevent more people from donating.
