Never forget.

I still remember where I was when I got the call and the disbelief I felt.

I always have a difficult time getting through this day. It brings back so many memories and they are all crystal clear in my mind. To my friends in the FDNY that were lost that day and to the other friends that were lost in a field in Pa....I will never forget you and miss you daily. God Bless!

it was eerie ..... because i heard it announced over the radio
so it was reminiscent of the days before TV in a way....
as i was all alone in my construction office

instantly ... i remembered the first attempt to destroy the tower
So...i just knew it was NO accident.... just couldn't be

then ....when the tower was reported to have collapsed
and i visualized all the people getting crushed

it made me real SICK ... I went home.... the (old man) Boss was
shocked that i just excused myself like that...
and left the building without asking permission

but i didn't care....it was a pearl harbor kind of day
and my brain no longer had the capacity to work

felt like Mike Tyson punched me hard in the gut....

i'll never forget that feeling....
