What is with these idiots riding in traffic doing 40-50 mph and slamming their front brakes on, lifting the rear wheel off the ground??? The past two days they have been in front of me doing this on the highway and Warwick Avenue during rush hour. Its only a matter of time before they dump it....I thought I saw it all when the do a wheelie off the take off but now they do it when they stop....I guess it is that DARWIN thing at work again!

How do you like going along at a steady clip in 3 lanes of heavy-but-moving rush hour traffic when they start weaving in and out at 85+ mph? You hear the snarly rice-beater engine winding up and they fly by about 3" from your passenger side mirror. And you know if they hit you, their next of kin will come after your insurance company :af:

I call those crotch rockets chlorine for the gene pool.

Lifting the rear wheel with the front brake is known as a "stoppie" there are a group called "Driving to Endanger" that put on shows at races and dragstrips that these guys get their ideas from. I've seem a tape made by Driving to Endanger that was made in traffic. These guys are whack! Standing on the gastank ect.

just wait till these things get to the road....

The Tomahawk is likely to see the light of day, according to #2 exec Wolfgang Bernhard, who said we'd know by summer 2003. It's a Viper V-10 based motorcycle, a 500 horsepower engine sitting out in the elements with some wheels beneath it. The price would be at least $250,000, and there would be only a few hundred made. Frankly, we suspect the Tomahawk will be built, due to a huge amount of public interest.

The Dodge Tomahawk can reach 60 miles an hour in about 2.5 seconds, and has a theoretical top speed of nearly 400 mph. Each pair of wheels is separated by a few inches and each wheel has an independent suspension. Bernhard said four wheels were necessary to handle the power from the engine.

The Tomahawk remains on display at auto shows - though well out of reach of the general public, elevated on a special display

Jay Leno bought a jet engined bike and when he took it out to try it, he melted the front end of a Camry at a traffic lite.
