Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device iamskippy 11-05-2014, 05:18 PM Horse shoes , hand grenades. And tape messures... As much as i hated hard hats i remember the safety videos explaining the deaths at the hoover damn amd how the helmet came about. Always wore one.. That explains why bullets are so deadly. Seriously, sometimes you don't have any control over "freak" accidents. I was wondering if they victim actually had a helmet in the truck, or was he just a random "delivery" guy that didn't know it was a hard-hat zone? It is scary that the tape deflected off of something else before it hit him. Just getting hit from above is freaky enough, but to add a riccochet to that adds another level of weird that you can't explain. Jackbass 11-07-2014, 01:54 PM The sad thing is per OSHA regulations a hard hat is required when entering a construction site. Legally it is his responsibility to wear it. I've got to wear one any time my drivers or I step out of my plow trucks because I plow for the state of Ma. I'm sure there will be an OSHA investigation and some new regulation as a result. Maybe every tape measure used on a site will need a leash. Piscator 11-08-2014, 12:20 AM Not just required on construction sites. Watch out Ronnie...i hear there is a law in Mass being voted on that you will need to wear a helmet while commercial tuna fishing as well....
