Shortest day of the year today. Tomorrow starts the lengthening of the daylight!! Let there be more light!! Still much chitty weather to go but for me, the darkness is the worst.

there's something real comforting knowing that each day
is 15 minutes longer

i track the Sun rise between the trees.... now it'll move
from left to right again...

The time when slightly more knowledge hurts - watching the sun arc southerly as fall comes on and there is nothing you can do :yak5:

Now it begins to drag ever so slowly the other way :wall:

I'm an optimistic, the glass is half full kinda person.
As if the 21st. The daylight hour's will be increasing by the minutes every day from then on out.
