(4 and 6) Going with them is just a lot more common it seems than going myself, and it is certainly fun. Coming home at 9 am after a morning myself with the kids running out sayinf dad what did you catch, has changed to coming home with breakfast and coffee for mom and the kids saying Mom you won't believe what we caught...so this year they both got rod and reel combos and new shiner bucket, seriously, for ice fishing. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device Jackbass 12-22-2014, 08:51 AM I asked for nothing fishing related. Have more than I use regardless. I will pick up another reel this year. But would rather get a US strat. (and I want the same for you as well.) In the end this seems to stop us all, I see it more and more...good fisherman sidelined because of some kind of pesky health matter. (when your back goes you will know what I mean) My needs: a fifty-some-odd foot long range cockpit trawler set up in expedition fashion for fishing my way back and forth between the Caribbean and NE with the seasons. (I don't care about speed anymore...I want long range comfort that I can stay on for months at a time.) piemma 12-28-2014, 07:32 AM For Clammer to make the Cutty trip again. (I don't care about speed anymore...I want long range comfort that I can stay on for months at a time.) Within 10 years my plan is to buy a. 40-50 foot sailboat that I might live on. I'd rig it for offshore fishing. Sounds crazy, and I've never heard of anyone going long distances in a sailboat just to fish, but it sounds fun and I'd save a mint on diesel. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device too bad you can't build an on board kiln to power a boiler to run a steam engine so you can make glass bottles with notes in them to throw over board... :btu: you have ten years to build it Mr. Sandman 12-28-2014, 01:57 PM Need crew with good back, let me know. ;) Got to start the 2015 hoing early. Now a days it seems all he does is use shiners?! He was always a bait guy. It wasn't until he saw me land/lose some big LMB that he used lures! He did have a good run for a while. May be he just doesn't like to walk around any more since he is in his late 70's. ;) vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
