As far as maintenance, I just put a couple bags of potassium in every six months or so... Its a price worth paying to keep your applicances and showers from looking like crap. Of note, the plumbing to a previous radon-in-water netralizer was already there, so that undoubtedly saved me some $$ on the install. fishsmith 01-30-2015, 10:46 AM I've got one of these (link below) under my kitchen sink, change the filter when wife commands (3-4x per year). Works great, filters are cheap and easy to replace, < 1/2 hr for plumber to install. http://img2.findthebest.com/sites/default/files/781/media/images/t2/GE_GE_Single_Stage_Drinking_Water_Filtration_Syste m_Under_Counter_71880.png PRBuzz 01-30-2015, 11:44 AM Doesn't the system depend upon how bad the water is? Have you had an analysis done? iamskippy 01-30-2015, 08:04 PM Doesn't the system depend upon how bad the water is? Have you had an analysis done? Just kicking some tires for some idea's. Curious what folks are using and what maintenance is. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
