Sea Dangles 01-30-2015, 03:51 PM Boga is for boats, cars Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device JLH 01-30-2015, 04:31 PM I carry one on my belt all season. I have mine hanging vertically from a D ring and it doesn't really ever bother me. Some guys I know do setup their belt to have them sit horizontally across the small of their back so that it's out of the way and more comfortable. tlapinski 01-30-2015, 04:41 PM There have been dome good discussions on this in the past. Do a search for a thread where I talk about the retractor from Cetacia. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device ivanputski 01-30-2015, 07:02 PM I wear a boga 60 as jlh mentioned. Clipped yo a D ring on my side... Hangs vertically. Never bothers me, maybe just swing a little at times when walking fast. I like knowing what fish weigh once they get in the 40lb range Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device tysdad115 01-30-2015, 10:34 PM I wear mine across my back, then hang it off a clip on my belt. The 30lb never bothered me swinging vertical but when I clipped on the 60lb it seemed huge. I'll figure out a horizontal solution if swinging vertical becomes a issue. eskimo 01-30-2015, 10:48 PM I too like to know the weight for almost no other reason except to see if my guest is within a couple pounds and maybe to call my friends out on whats going to be their next fish story. :hs: iamskippy 01-31-2015, 07:00 AM I only use a 30 cause i dont catch large fish and hang it Vertically, but i have fished with guys that carry 60's and they hang them horizontally across their lower back between 2 D rings, looks comfortable and easy to get to. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device ivanputski 01-31-2015, 07:57 AM I would like to wear it across my lower back horizontally but i wear my plug bag on my belt so have never been able to try it Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device numbskull 02-01-2015, 11:52 AM I used to cary a big scale but now I just lie instead. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device I've got to try this, every time I catch a 45 or 55# fish the Boga is in the truck. :spin: tlapinski 02-01-2015, 01:45 PM I think I remember the thread. I'm guessing it held up well. Found it on Leisure Pro for $25 with great reviews. tlapinski 02-02-2015, 12:22 PM Perfect. I'm guessing it held up well. Found it on Leisure Pro for $25 with great reviews. I generally get 3 - 5 years out of one retractor. I do make a point to rinse it after each trip with fresh water and spray WD-40 into the cord every so often as well. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
