Well, being someone who takes the T daily to and from work, its been brutal. I acknowledge that this snow is ridiculous, and I generally sympathize. Today I am feeling differently, it seems crazy that after having 36 hours to clear the tracks, with the lines fully shut down and a relatively warm day to do it, I am sitting on a bus, because only one track is operational, and the train is 25-45 minutes delayed. What did they do? 36 hours!

The T was a #^&#^&#^&#^&ing mess and a joke LONG before Charlie was born and will be a #^&#^&#^&#^&ing mess and a joke long after he in a pine box covered by dirt.
Average retirement age is 47 for political hires / T employees at around 50K for the rest of their life.
I personally know guys who work/sleep there.
Should have been privatized years ago.

That will change since you now must be 55 to retire. and your pension size will depend on length of service and annual salary.

They have a LONG way to go before the under 55 die off.
Also.
I know a handful who got the job through the South Boston political scam system and once hired they were taken to a certain credit union for a loan of the amount of their 1st years salary to be paid in cash to a certain corrupt midget former state house speaker.
True story !

She screwed up ,, Job also comes with car and driver . I'm told before her, they would keep the trains running all night during a bad storm to keep the tracks clear. She doesn't do that .
