:confused: Just curious about your preference for fishing at night. I find that I prefer fishing a full moon to a new moon. My experience has been that the bite, when I have been out fishing eels at night, is better under a full moon than under a new moon.
This contradicts most of what I have read regarding night fishing. Any thoughts?:doh: :wall: :smash:

New moon takes the cake for me over a full. But if it is fall i would rather have the full because I KNOW they are eating and it is easier to fish. Half the time I don't need the light

Like 'em both but prefer the New Moon or Full with overcast sky.:humpty:

thats a real good hard bite time....

i think the full moon sucks and at times those whimpt tides stink
but under cloud cover its good or rain that equates into a se ne nw blow
on the break down it get hotter though:D

I love the new moon but I have done well with a full moon and cloud cover.
