Would also like to have tilting table on it as well..... I need to sand an inside radius at 30 degrees.

I delivered two Adirondack chairs last week that I had built over the winter for a client. Now I have inquiry for 14 and have to quote a price for that many. This tool will cut down a significant amount of time, so just need to see what is out there at what price....

Ross, if you have a radial arm saw, there is an attachment that can hold a spindle sander, then just set the saw at the 30 degree
just a thought
I have done that

if you want an oscillating one, that would perform and last better

Bruce, no radial. Sold that years ago. Been using drill press with mixed results. This guy wants 14 chairs made out of mahogany so will be nasty dust issue. Jet JBOS-5 is nice but want to see if I can find a used one.

I'd look for an edge sander, usually can find non oscillating ones in the $500 range. Just clamp a guide to the table.

I've got a Craftsman direct drive 1/2 H.P. with 2", 1 1/2", and 1" spindles. The work top is 20" x 20".... cheap money $60.

how big is the radius you are sanding? Could you do it with the nose of a belt sander and a plywood jig?
