NEXT2NUN 07-16-2003, 05:06 PM Nice work!
How does the skeeter swim?
ThrowingTimber 07-16-2003, 05:21 PM Awesome work that green over the copper looks to be killer! Hope you get a large on your plugs:D
Backbeach Jake 07-16-2003, 08:54 PM Those plugs are AWESOME!! Can I test them for you?!!
bassmaster 07-16-2003, 09:45 PM :D
the skeeters hve a pretty cool action. i fish them using a "walk the dog" retrieve but you can make long jerks wiith ur rod and cause them to dive down under the surface and theyll sometimes come half way out of the water as they shoot back up. they actually make a surprisingly big splash on the retrieve for not having a hollow popper mouth.
vineyardblues 07-20-2003, 08:45 AM Very nice work :)
At least you completed them, I still 100's not done yet :)
You are way ahead in this game!

vineyard eh? any tips on where to go to get big ol vineyard stripers off a boat? livelining scup is always a sure hit....at least it would be if i knew where to drop em.
thanx chum...think ya cud send me a pic of the terminator...christian keeps on rubbin it in that i havent seen it yet
chumbucket 07-21-2003, 05:01 AM <<<< ...there's the small pic under my name to the left...I'll try to post some more pics as soon as I find something better than dotphoto who keeps substituting their logo for my posted pics in another thread
SHAMROCK--for all of you irish guys...hehe
awwww how cuteeee! most of these lures i painted with spray paint just cuz airbrush paint is $$$ and takes longer to werk with. I did a mass production during school in May and came out with around 80 plugs only about 10 of which i found time to airbrush....so of them liek this one are freshwater
a larger freshwater popper...le frog
for the freshwater ones i used the galvy wire which i ended up just painting ovce bc i was gettin lazy.
a very scary and deadly homemade lathe....
vineyardblues 07-21-2003, 08:27 AM Hey Hech,
You need a big boat but the best spot is Wasque rip ON Chappy.
Next in line would be Squibby , and hold on to your rod :)
It's one of the best fall spot's on the east coast !
Hope this helps
VB
thanks VB ive always wanted to liveline at the rip but i dont have a livewell on my freinds boat anf the scup dont last long enough. we've been there b4 trolling bucktails and swimmers but no luck beside a few follows of a bucktail. but ur right about the big boat we had a 25ft whalers and that thing took a pounding and shook us around on the rip. :smash: :smash: where is squibby? ive never heard of it b4???
ferret 07-21-2003, 10:23 AM Great stuff buddy!!!
