View Full Version : First Signs of Spring
cow tamer 03-31-2015, 04:40 PM Heard, then saw, a red wing blackbird, perched on some reeds along brackish water.
Won't be long till peepers start makin' some noise. Heard that herring scouts are starting to show up as well.
MakoMike 03-31-2015, 05:27 PM Freaking snowing again down here!
Linesider82 03-31-2015, 06:03 PM Lol let it snow, let snow, let it snow. Next weeks forecast shows snow/rain mix in several days, hopefully that changes.
I had 4 robins in my backyard Sunday. The birds know more than I do, I'll go along that it's spring now. Saturday projected 64 here with rain all day, my basement is going to flood something fierce. Hope the washer and dryer float.

Damn grackles are bathing in the pool again ... with blue jays watching on. Sure sign.

Pretty sure I'm watching birds out front working over herring right now. Heading North!
