Yes an idiot. Could have had enough $ to do what he wanted for the rest of his life.

How did he get sentenced so quick? Does the judge usually sentence someone right then and there? Was it bc there was no death sentence as a possiblility - which I think the jury decides.

I think we can put to bed the Raiders being the criminal element of the league talk.
Never had a player convicted of 1St degree murder.

Murder 1 = Life without parole - Mandatory sentence.

They took awhile because they had 3 choices, Murder 1, Murder 2, or not guilty. So they had to deliberate the circumstances to make sure it applied to murder 1

I know it's not going to happen, but I'd like to see charges against his girl friend as well. Waste of time granting her immunity. She didn't help the prosecution.

She lied during her testimony and if the DA wants to he can reneged on any immunity deal. Her answer that she doesn't recall where the dumpster was that she through the gun in smells like last weeks cabbage.

The judge didn't submit second degree murder to the jury, as far as I understand it. I heard the jury instructions and she didn't instruct them on second degree.

When they asked the jury for the verdict they asked them if he was guilty of murder, guilty of murder in the second degree, or not guilty. Then they read the verdict.....that's where I got it from.

Might just be a standard way of asking for that type of verdict.

Vic, I love ya but, AH wasn't a gangster, he was a wannabe. He's big and tall but has no real affiliations with any real gangs inside. If he happens to make it to a real gang/segregated prison, (which he probably won't) he would have many problems. 1st problem would be which gang does he belong to?
