There is the issue; if Brady's phone had nothing incriminating on it, why hasn't Don Yee released the transcript? I think 4 games for something that lots of teams probably do is extreme, but it seems like something shady was done and covered up, no matter how stupidly the investigation was handled....

That's how you see it. I doubt highly that McNally just took it upon himself to let some PSI off the ball w/o the QB's knowledge.

Which would be backed up by the texts stating that the refs over inflated balls in the past, which I'm sure Brady threw a fit over.

Here's why the whole story makes no sense. If Brady really was a chronic offender you'd have a lot of people coming out of the woodwork to cash in. Where are they?

And the evidence on the field is clear, ball inflation doesn't seem to have an impact on the quality of his game.

The NFL, as an organization is shady. They held onto their tax exempt status until just recently, and only gave it up in order to loosen the faint grasp Congress could hold on them for being such. The move was a PR stunt first and foremost, but now they are no longer required to disclose salaries, like that of the commissioner, who made $44 million in 2012. They are only concerned about their image and only care about protecting those inside the league office. Can't/Won't even adequately address their own players (past or present)with medical issues and head injuries. They suck.
