I know the tuna game is not cheap but is 4,800 the going rate for a trip seems very expensive. Or am I just slow and cannot pick up on sarcasm?

I think that price is for the ride out! You want to come back in, that will be $7500. Tip extra to BOTH Capt & mate. Cash OK as long as the ink is dry :)
