Fished the east end with Slingah and BasicPatrick on Saturday morning from 3:00 a:m to 8:00 a:m. No fish. Slingah had one on when we got there but he dropped it, otherwise caught no fish. However...at first light the canal was alive with fish hitting topwater. From on top of the jetty we could see schools of bass moving bait up against the side of the canal. The bass would not bite at anything we threw their way. There was at least 20 other guys there with their thumbs up their butts like us as the fish would eat nothing but the bait they were chasing. Sand eels was all they would hit and nobody I saw had any. Skunked again. S-K-U....N-K-E....D we are skunked again. Oh well.:wall: :smash: :doh:Sleep now. :sleeps:

Thats too bad. Any place at the Race my inlaws can park their RV, while we go out in my truck. I know Herring Cove, any where else? I am heading down in the am.
