I have hear the follow "color" names to describe plugs and flies...
Blurple = black/purple
Parot = chartreuse/yellow
Midnight = black/blue
Schoolbus = Black/yellow
What do you call "Red/yellow"?

French fry & ketchup
(which coincidentally happens to be my least favorite color combo possible for a plug. Yellow and red together
is just like sand in my eye for some reason.)

My old fishing partner RJ caught a 42# bass at Deep Hole in 1992 or 93 coming out of the moratorium on a Yellow over Red popper.
They work.

I want to know why we call an orange an orange ? why not a banana a yellow or an apple a red or a green ? why do kiwis have fur ? why is a banana shaped like it is ? why name a fruit kumquat ?
These questions and many other keep me awake at night

You and my wife would get along great Chris. She makes everything more complex than what it has to be.
