I made some plugs for a LI fisherman over the winter in trade for a new 700B he had hanging around. Now I need to get another boat rod to pair with this reel. Plan to use it trolling rips and jigging. Any recommendations. Should I go down to CMS in NB and get something made or buy off the shelf.

Go to CMS and grab one of the customs off the shelf, they build amazing rods and the staff is great.
