Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device Does anyone ever understand these things? Jackbass 06-12-2015, 03:45 PM Does anyone ever understand these things? Generally not until it's too late. The Pols are having it written by those who get them elected. Generally they don't even know 100% of what they're signing into law. Our president is trying to have the Senate pass legislation that gives him full authority to approve treaties without Senate approval and then require the Senate to have a super majority to reject the treaty. Essentially this gives the president the authority to do as he wishes in terms of treaties and takes even more power away from Congress. FishermanTim 06-15-2015, 09:18 PM Obama trade??? I wonder what we can get for him? (maybe a draft pick and a liberal to be maimed later?) Ironically it appears this is a bi partisan effort to sell us all out. Democrats took roughly half the money Republicans did per individual. More republicans took money than dems it appears.
