If you want to fish lures - Yozuri minnows should work - silver, or anything looking like a mackeral should work. If sand eels are in, something long and thin that looks like a sand eel.

If you want to try bait, sea worms or chunked herring should work fine.

Good luck.

Good luck, and let us know how you do:smash: Don't let the spending of tackle get in the way of that eventual car, lol... wait a minute, you have two more years, at least... one year of tackle won't kill ya:happy: :D

I have had good luck w/ a hi/lo rig w/ chunk mackerel (sp). I pulled in a 50# a few miles north of your fishing spot 2 yrs ago. If you will still be in the area the week of 27 July-2Aug, I will be there w/ my wife and kids. Get permision from your parents to give me a call, and maybe you can fish w/ my son some time that week. PM me if interested, or if you need more details.
