First is my 4 year-old, with a tiny bit of help from me, landing 3 mackeral at once. Second pic is my 8 year-old with a nice bass, we grilled it for dinner, he felt like a big shot providing for the family. Third is the 8 year-old being put to work on the lobster boat, putting rubber bands on the claws of all the keepers. Every kid who has any interest in the water, should do this trip with a friendly lobsterman. Like a living biology class.

Agreed on all counts. It was a perfect, magical week. I absolutely love the outer cape, lots of healthy stuff for the kids, and man it speaks to me on a deep level. Hopefully going for 2 weeks next year.

Awesome :kewl:

Macs are definitely a cool fish. Love when a school the length of a football field passes right by your feet :eek5: In recent years I've come to believe that big fish prefer macs (and sand eels) over pogies, but that's for another thread
