Don't know why I find the Koelewyn saga very interesting- but:

Priensberger USA 300- to Rob K Van Staal- to Zeebaas- to Trydent to 3-Tand to Blue Marlin- to RK Sports (Subaqua) to new VR series at Van Staal at ICAST this week and working with Craig ??? What???

Would like to know how its possible for Rob K to announce he sold the Subaqua reel to Van Staal in June and in one month it is redesigned, in VS catalogs and at ICAST when- I don't know but I've been told the reel was being developed for a long time by Van Staal??

Did Rob K sell the design to Van Staal last year and then try to manufacture it on his own?

The Priensberger (original Surfcaster Catalog owner) Surf 300 reel and Rob K running with the idea and changing the name to VS300 was a very contentious conflict at that time.
