So, I happen to be in Plymouth at the state boat ramp today with a buddy. More boats than I've ever seen being launched and taken out. Still recovering from knee surgery so we're watching the show for a short time. There's a couple guys off to the left of the ramp on the sea wall with lines in the water. It's got to be at least a 20 foot drop (it was low tide) down to the water and I can see these guys have no provisions to haul up a fish with. Well one of the guys hooks into a little schoolie and prcedes to drag the fish up the rocks then bouncing off the wall, gets it over the wall and drops it on the pavement. He then lets the fish flop around while he puts on a glove to handle the fish with, unhooks it and tosses the fish towards the water. Well it hit the rocks 20 feet down and slid into the water, went belly up and drifted away twitching every once and a while with seagulls eyeballing it.
My buddy immediately looks at me cuz he knows I'm going to say something to the guy but the Harbormaster that was working the ramp saw it and had a few words for the guy thankfully. not sure what he'd ever do if he hooked into a decent fish???
That kind of stuff burns me up:af: :af: :af:
