Any one have one? Looking to mix things up a bit more and do some more backwater fishing (rivers and harbors) next year. Looking for a rod to handle this and occasional albie shore trips. Likely fishing soft plastics and small metal/plugs mostly but would like to be able to go up to a po-jee or 1.5 oz crippled herring if necessary. Will be paired with a Stradic 5k. Currently use an old 8'6" Ben doer surf rod for this but the handle is too long (I could cut it) and the cheap plastic reel seat sucks (elect tape is a pia when I want to use the reel for something else). Thanks.

I don't have the Greenwater, but I've got a nice Avid for sale if you're interested. Fits right in the range of what you're looking at.

I will take the Ben Doerr Surf off your hands..... Have one, love it. Is what I took for my albie trip with Sea Dangles.

Have heard good things about it, just shorter than I like. Really want at least 7'-6".
