You have called many of the greatest games in Red Sox history. You have been part of a great, often hilarious duo, with Jerry Remy. Clearly one of the top play by play men in the business. Since the news came out that you were basically railroaded out by the GM at NESN, you have handled the situation with class and dignity, never lowering yourself into the fray. Every fan I know of can't believe NESN nor the Red Sox would offer or renew your contract. Very happy to hear you will be the play by play announcer for San Diego in 2016. Our loss is their gain. His act had run its course in my opinion. He was good, but awkward at times with all the red-faced laughter he shared with Jerry.
Dave O'Brien will make you say Don who and the next step is to dump Remdawg so he can focus on his crappy restaurants and write letters to his kid.
