28 inch blue sucked down a pencil without a splash and nearly pulled me over at 630 am. Nice fat fish, nice fight and ran down and against the current. Other than that just 24 to 26 inch bass. But there is always tonight or tomorrow. Still expect a surge or 2 of good bass. Bill

we've had dinks down here for a while too.... hoping some better ones show before its all over.

geez- I hope so.

been hitting it pretty hard for the last 3 weeks (fishing almost daily- wife AINT happy) and had every 27" fish in the county eat the plug/jig/eel......

Guaranteed 800,000 plus pounds of Cape Cod Bay "big fish" didn't survive July and will not be passing' thru.

29 inch bass this am. Everything else out of range. Measured her as I take scale sample from 10 bass per month for the division of marine fisheries which counts the growth ring's on the 5 scales I send with the measurements. Length to age helps determine the strength of the stock and growth rates etc.

I take scale sample from 10 bass per month for the division of marine fisheries which counts the growth ring's on the 5 scales I send with the measurements. Length to age helps determine the strength of the stock and growth rates etc.
