"undocumented week"...and "undocumented awareness day"

http://www2.ed.gov/about/overview/focus/supporting-undocumented-youth.pdf

Obama's Department of Education is proposing that schools spend a week celebrating illegal aliens, including an "undocumented immigrant awareness day."

The document, which was released on Tuesday, also urges schools to provide welcoming environments for illegal alien students by hosting events such as "Undocumented Week."

The guide also provides tips for schools and educators on how to support illegal alien youth who are in high school and college. It also provides information for non-citizens on how to access federal financial aid[.]

The guide also urges schools to create welcoming environments for such students.

Suggestions for how to support the students including hosting "an undocumented immigrant awareness day."

"Consider partnering with community and stakeholder groups to amplify the event," the guide suggests.

A "stakeholder group"? Are they talking about taxpayers or citizens?

Other proposals include: "Publicly demonstrate support for undocumented students" ...

How do you think schools will "demonstrate support" for undocumented students?

... and "educate all students about the challenges and strengths of undocumented students, such as by hosting an Undocumented Week."

"Each day, highlight an issue faced by undocumented students or celebrate an accomplishment of the undocumented immigrant community," it continues.

"Our nation's public schools should be welcoming, safe, and supportive places where all students, regardless of their zip code or where they were born, are given the opportunity to succeed," John King, a senior adviser at the Department of Education said in a statement.

I wonder why home schooling is getting more popular?

Here's another great piece of liberal insanity in public schools.

What an arsehole!

Maybe the school teachers and officials should be "withheld" because they aren't smart enough?

If this person isn't ousted for interfering with student body politics, there is no need for elections because evidently the principal knows what's best for the entire student body, even if they don't vote for it!

So...if our kids just claim that they're illegal they can get a bunch of chit for free? Where do I sign up?
When do we get that "Undocumented person's Day" off as a holiday?
Maybe they'll call it the "Obama screws the USA Day"?

creating a welcoming environment for folks who have either entered our country illegally or continue to stay illegally and apparently now, celebrating their willingness to do so illegally...yes, they have indeed gone mad!!! we have a LEGAL immigration system, let's celebrate the folks that have done it legally or are waiting to do it legally...oh wait...that might hurt the esteem of the folks that have done it illegally

Spence, you must have missed the word Illegal students.
Maybe we should have another week of celebration for those students
who have broken other laws too. Time for a sanity check.

The students aren't illegal, they're legally enrolled in school.

If child's parents brought them across the border illegally, they'll technically not even here illegally.

That document says 60,000 graduate every year. That's a lot.

So what would President Spence do today with the realization that 10-30 million undocumented immigrated illegally citizens are in the US today?

He'd do everything he could for them, give them lots of services, in the hopes that they would vote 'D' forever. And he would hasten our march to chapter 11.
