.... while I was working on "fixing" the banners I noticed we went over 90K posts - I'm guessing a week or two ago! Not bad for the underdogs :hihi: .

Thanks to everyone that makes this site a relaxing place to talk Stripahs!

Underdogs? Maybe in numbers only. IMO, first rate and the best place to be. Can't find a better gathering.:btu:

You are so perceptive. Actually, I call them "Legs" because whether it's racing ocean boats, hitting a strip joint, or playing bar golf - "LEGS" is far more manly than "Flings". A "Fling" is that spring fair you went to hosted by your elementary school where you usually won a goldfish that died in that plastic bag on the way home. A "FLING" is 47 guys casting a green crab on a flat structureless beach after one 22 inch schoolie. A "LEG" is a collection of small groups, spread out, braving the elements, high surf, wipping wind in your face pursuit of a 22 inch schoolie. Men - there is a difference. We do not call out fishless get togethers "Flings"
