Winterizing this week along with new water pump, drive shaft bushing and contemplating timing belt.
Check out the filters, the new one is the green,,,,,, do u think it's normal for the old one to be this brown color?

You gotta stop mixing your moonshine with your gas.....you can't make it a 6-stroke.

Gup, My Yami dealer says Yami recommends a timing belt change at 900 hours for our motor. It's $90 for the belt and I forget how much for the service but it wasn't outrageous. Do it!! It's cheap insurance.

I've bought them brand new as brown filters.
Blow it out {inside out}and save.

Is it a Merc??? They charged me $17 bucks for that filter in Orleans.

I've changed those filters in an IH motor back in the 70's.
They do a good job.

Yanmar engine mounted filters are around 35 bucks each plus the Yanmar/racor setup fuel water filters are over 40 bucks each.
X2 engines...:err: Plus they are Yanmar specific, there is no aftermarket alternative. I do get about 300 hours on filters though.
it's like buying a new reel every filter change.

Boat owners shouldn't complain about costs.

Everyone knows we are all rich.:nailem:

Finally getting my boat back from the shop after the repair of the damage from some dips##t that rammed her in my slip.

Pick her up and covering tomorrow.
Will be turn-key in the spring though.
