Looks like that worked out pretty damn good couple times that I know about.... :-)
i think i am wrapping up after this weekend. last year's last trip was 12/27
MakoMike 12-11-2015, 08:11 PM Been done since two weeks before Thanksgiving. I usually throw in the towel on Thanksgiving, but this year I called it early because I was going out west to spend Thanksgiving with my son and his family.
seadogg 12-11-2015, 09:15 PM What's left to prove this time of year? The fishing is nothing to rave about, and the same usually goes for the weather. I practically live to fish, but I'll be damned if I'm spending my days in December sitting aboard a boat trying to get a few lousy ground fish while my fingers turn to rocks. And winterizing the boat when it's 35 degrees out is nothing short of miserable. Haul the thing and go for trout, I say.

Hey I can't disagree with that. Always two sides to the coin!
