I am upgrading to a larger used Oliver lathe to build beds and other large spindle projects and I do not have enough room for 3 lathes in my shop. This General is one of the best minis on the market plus it is set up on a Double Rikon adjustable height stand and it has a second cast iron bed so it can turn baseball bats and table legs.
I will also include a Nova chuck that uses tommy bars which is a great chuck... very useful for drilling and many other applications.
Also included is a live center and a Penn state Super drive center, a 12" Robust tool rest, and a General 6" tool rest.
All this equipment is well north of $1200 and you would need to customize some of it by adding a plywood top section to the stand
I am selling this for $450 and would be happy to get you a turning lesson if you are just getting into woodturning. All you need it to buy some turning tools and Morse Taper 2 Drill chuck and you are good to go to make plugs, pepper grinders, salt pigs, baseball bats, ice cream scoops, wine stoppers, and more
