Dumb. Dumb.... Always take the ball first in overtime. But give the Jets credit. They marched down the field and punched the Patriots in the mouth.... afterhours 12-27-2015, 04:17 PM i think matthew had a brain fart? Was he disoriented? After committing an afternoon to the game, I just hated to see it end that way. afterhours 12-27-2015, 05:24 PM bb says he wanted to kick but i think he's covering for matthew - which is what a good coach should do. JohnR 12-27-2015, 07:07 PM Frankly - Pats -v- Jets is usually a real tough game. The Pats are running out of Zombies and I am hoping a few are back by the second round of Playoffs. So who does he convince to come out of retirement?? afterhours 12-27-2015, 08:24 PM Frankly - Pats -v- Jets is usually a real tough game. Bill had a lack of confidence in the offense - note the end of the first half. I remember, too, he opted to kick against Denver in overtime a couple of years ago, but the cold and wind were factors then. Pats beat Broncs that time.
