Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.... Always take the ball first in overtime.

But give the Jets credit. They marched down the field and punched the Patriots in the mouth....

Did he suffer a concussion? Was he disoriented? After committing an afternoon to the game, I just hated to see it end that way.

bb says he wanted to kick but i think he's covering for matthew - which is what a good coach should do.

Frankly - Pats -v- Jets is usually a real tough game.

The Pats are running out of Zombies and I am hoping a few are back by the second round of Playoffs. So who does he convince to come out of retirement??

who's in retirement that still has skills? i think they'll be fine come playsoffs - all hands on deck mode.

Do not blame Mathew....blame the head coach....he is the one that called it ....Belichick figured the jets would go 3 and out pats get the ball kick a field goal and win....Belichick out smarted Belichick....mat questioned the coach 3 times about kicking the ball before the coin toss....mats question was about which side to defend......:)

You're right. Bill had a lack of confidence in the offense - note the end of the first half. I remember, too, he opted to kick against Denver in overtime a couple of years ago, but the cold and wind were factors then. Pats beat Broncs that time.

Here is belichick thought of which is a good one if it had worked as planned.

Pats will be 1 & done in the playoffs the way they've been playing lately.
