Are there any recommended products that work well for fixing leaky waders?...

AquaSeal......

Worked for me, even on a fair sized gash in the boot....

Do you know where I can pick some up?

Most tackle shops carry it. If not, you can get it at a scuba shop. Fisherman's Goop works, too. (But not as well on neoprene)

Carbela's catlog, maybe Sports Authority or Wal Mart.
Are they Neoprene? Where are they leaking?
In my dealings nothing works for long.

Bliz, if you go to a dive shop you should be able to get Aqua seal and Coatol 240. You use that to clean the spot and thin the aqua seal if you want to.

They are the hodgeman breathables, and I think they are leaking at the seams where the neoprene boot attaches...

I was hoping to try sealing them at the seams....

Would there be enough sealant in one bottle to accomplish this?...

I just tossed out the same ones last week.Mine were leaking on the boot itself.Dry rot... check em... small cracks..I patched them with a rubber kit it worked until new ones showed up.

I did both the crack in the boot, and also along the boot/neoprene seam......on the seam, do both inside and out, and it will last longer.....also, get the Cotrel or whatever it's called that somebody mentioned.....makes for a better repair and faster cure....you mix it with the Aquaseal, sort of like mixing 2-part epoxy.......

And would probably last longer on breathables than on the neoprene, but that's just a guess.....

While we are on the subject I had a pair of cheap waders that ripped Friday. I am looking into getting new ones and tried on a pair of hodgeman neoprenes. It seems like you sweat you ass off in those , what do you guys recommend? Do you just use neoprene in the spring and fall?

I only have neoprene......waist high....and yeah, ya sweat in the summer.....

Not so bad if you are knee to thigh deep in water, but if you're not, and it's a muggy/warm evening/night, plan on losing a few pounds....and if it's the middle of the day...................

I've found that staying away from the beer at least 2 hrs before I put on my waders stops the leaks. However, if I usually bring a set of diapers to change into in case my buddy shows up on the beach with brew. All in all though, if it's cold out a leak or two doesn't hurt to take the chill off.
