Today was the day, picked up my new to me 2014 hobie revolution, from Eli.

Boat is in great condition and well cared for.

Standard find and rudder for now, I know everyone upgrades but I like the idea of more clearance when it's deployed, we shall see.

All rigged up with lowrance fish finder already too.

Yellow color.

Just need to clean it up, remove some decals, then add some decals, mount the rod holders wherever and get use to how it all works.

Need to get a nice PFD and some wader pants, if anyone has suggestions.

Excited for this season.

Main reason for the yak will be using it to gain access to better Surfcasting spots and freshwater swimbait fishing, but I can already see the potential for the back bays and shorelines I fish.

Really excited to go fluking out of it.

Have some spots I can't wait to fish.

Larry you'll have company this year!

Thanks Eli for working a trade deal with me and being patient about picking it up with the snow and scheduling and everyone else who answered my questions!

Chris - the other thing to keep in mind is that the water is pretty damn cold when you head out in the spring, so make sure you are dressed properly to handle it if you happen to go over. Most of us wear the tempest pants and some kind of splash or dry top. It's not totally waterproof, but its good enough to get you back in without a total shock from 50-55 degree water.

You could even wear the wetsuit as well.

You know probably more than most how fast things can go wrong out there!
