Would any of you folks know if there's a specific camo color and pattern for the Air Force? My (stubborn, picky, hard to shop for) father proudly spent time in the Air Force, mid to late 50's, a long time at the end of Dew Line Road in N. Truro then N. Africa. I researched and had some patches custom made for his detachment that I want to have sewn onto a boonie and a ball cap for his birthday and I want to get it right. So far, for the boonie hat, I haven't found anyone or any place that can give me a definitive answer, and like I said, I want to get it right. Maybe someone here knows.

They have a couple.... google air force digital camo. Most shown are the lighter desert green, but you will see the Navy/Marine blues there too.

Here's an example currently available at the exchange. I purchased one of these gore-tex jackets (on sale for less than 1/2 of current price) for my son last Christmas.
You should be able to view the item, but likely will not allow purchase unless you are affiliated with the armed forces.

Hey, thanks both, looks like a consensus. I searched a little more and think that's what I'll look for. Got an Army/Navy store nearby and hoping they've got something in stock.

Ha. Dad, I think that color would work if he were stationed at the base in N. Truro today, as it's been repurposed into an artists colony of sorts, also given its close proximity to P'town.
