What are your go to Spring lures. I have a few the old Yo Zuri crystal minnow magnums, 10" Finess, Pencils, and Magic Swimmers. I am mostly fishing rivers until the end of May.

Trebles not good for the kids, though all crushed barbs on schhoolie lures ok. Past history has the small smack its right up there. Love the feather tail and the rattle too. Looking forward to crushing barbs on Big Fish Savage Tadpole too. Used it for bss and pickeral last year. I would much prefer to skip the crabs. But I will, my average river fish is 15# in the Spring. I have lost a fish of a life time in the last days of April first days of May to river current and being under gunned.
